DOFUS reveals the mystery behind one of its most iconic dragon eggs

The Vulbis is one of the most coveted objects in the French MMORPG. That's due in part to its distinctive characteristics, but also to its unexplained origins. Now, though, it's only a matter of time until the mystery comes to an end – because on Tuesday, July 2, with update 2.52, players will be able to take on a new quest that will finally reveal the secrets of the enigmatic dragon's egg. Roubaix, July 4, 2019: "Revenge of the Feathered Dragon" is the name of this summer DOFUS update, and it's sure to be full of exciting revelations. The first of those revelations came when the trailer for the event was posted online: Players were introduced to a new female character with a strong personality, and a few visual clues that evoke the theme for the next few years in the Ankamaverse: the "Eliocalypse" and temporal anomalies.

The major additions in this new update are as follows:

 The Vulbis Dofus is now a quest reward.  A rebalancing of the Sacrier and Osamodas classes gets underway.  The new Crocuzko Island area opens, accompanied by a revamp of the Dreggon areas.  The Kolossium, a merciless player-vs-player tournament, starts its 4th season.

Ankama invites all DOFUS players to join us on Tuesday, July 2, to try and shed some light on this new quest and make off with the Vulbis Dofus. In the meantime, they can always try to make a chocolate version of it, like YouTuber Alexander Calvez did this past Easter – a unique way to bring this precious item into your home.
