Turn them into the School Office or Parish Office. Delivery will be on Sun., Dec. 4, from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. at Holy Name School .

HOLY NAME FAITH FORMATION

FAITH FORMATION NEWS: Classes for students in Grades 1 - 7 are being held this Sunday, Nov. 20, from 9:45 - 11:00 a.m. and for students in Grades 8 - 9 from 6 - 7:15 p.m. There are NO CLASSES next week for any grades due to the Thanksgiving Break. Classes will resume for all grades on Sunday, DEC. 4.

ALL STUDENTS, GRADES 1, 2, 8 & 9 who wish to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Holy and/or Confirmation must sign into Mass each Sunday (or Sat. afternoon), whether or not they have class that week. If you attend Mass at another on a weekend, you must ask the priest who celebrates the Mass to sign a bulletin for you and you need to bring it to your teacher at the next class.

USING GPS TO NAVIGATE LIFE : After Mass today have a conversation with your children, asking, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” After a few moments of discussion, ask, “Who do you think GOD wants you to be when you grow up?” Emphasize to your children that God has a specific plan in mind for them , and that following God’s plan is the surest way to happiness. Every life decision - which college to attend, whom to date, which job to pursue, whether to enter seminary or religious life, whom to marry - should be undertaken only after praying for God’s guidance. In other words, encourage children to navigate life using GPS….GOD’S POSITIONING SYSTEM.
