WUTIP IS MOVING NORTH-NORTHWEST AT 12 MPH. IT IS EXPECTED TO MAKE A SLIGHT TURN TOWARD THE NORTHWEST WITH A DECREASE IN FORWARD SPEED OVER THE NEXT 24 HOURS. MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS REMAIN AT 120 MPH. WUTIP IS FORECAST TO SLOWLY WEAKEN THROUGH TONIGHT AND SUNDAY. TYPHOON FORCE WINDS EXTEND OUTWARD FROM THE CENTER UP TO 60 MILES. TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS EXTEND OUTWARD FROM THE CENTER UP TO 190 MILES TO THE NORTHEAST AND UP TO 155 MILES ELSEWHERE. BECAUSE OF THE CONTINUED THREAT OF TYPHOON WUTIP (02W), ACTING GOVERNOR ARNOLD I. PALACIOS HAS ISSUED THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS AS OF 11:00 AM. MAINTAINS: TROPICAL STORM CONDITION II: ROTA (TROPICAL STORM CONDITION II MEANS THAT DAMAGING WINDS OF 39-73 MPH ARE EXPECTED WITHIN 24 HOURS) TROPICAL STORM CONDITION III: SAIPAN, TINIAN, PAGAN, AND AGRIHAN (TROPICAL STORM CONDITION III MEANS THAT DAMAGING WINDS OF 39-73 MPH ARE POSSIBLE WITHIN 48 HOURS) THE CNMI EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTER STATE WARNING POINT WILL BE MONITORING THE MOVEMENT OF TYPHOON WUTIP (02W) AND WILL BE ISSUING OUT BULLETINS AS THEY BECOME AVAILABLE.
