Opening statement “I’d like to introduce the three new Broncos that we drafted yesterday. We’re really excited about them. [Our] first pick in the second round at No. 36, , from Cincinnati, defensive lineman. Obviously a position of need for us. We were thrilled to get him there. He’s a guy that has a great athletic ability, and I think the thing that really stuck out to us on film was the way that he plays the game. He’s relentless and he’ll be able to set the tone for us on the defensive side. That combination of want‐to and athletic ability he has, we’re thrilled to get him where we did at 36.

“, obviously a young, big, athletic that I really think has a lot of upside. It gives us an opportunity to work with him, he gets the chance to work with [QB] Peyton [Manning], see how it’s done. A guy that in my mind has an extreme upside and has a chance to be a great quarterback in this league for a long, long time.

“Then , from San Diego State. Here’s a guy that as a quarterback you want in the backfield with you. Because he’s a guy that when you get the ball in his hands, he has an opportunity to take it the distance every time he touches it. Not only that, his size, watching him on film, he can run it inside too. He can bang it in there—he’s not afraid to run between the tackles. We really think that we’ve got a change‐of‐pace back in Ronnie that’s going to be able to come in here and help us right away. We’re extremely excited about that.”
