THE RP RODRIQUEZ SHIELD The RP Rodriguez Shield honors a distinguished West Australian football administrator and respected contributor to WA Football, . The Rodriguez Shield was introduced in 1957 and is presented to the most consistent team over the three grades of football. Rodriguez began his administrative career with Claremont, and later served terms as senior Vice President and President of the WANFL, and as President of the ANFC. A league team receives 10 points for a win, the reserves 4 points and the colts 4 points. It has been won by the following clubs:
