Dallas Council 799 Chaplain’s Message Knights of Columbus By Fr. Josef Vollmer-König 10110 Shoreview Road , Texas 75238

Dear brother Knights. We just completed “Holy Week”. The week that reminds us of the ultimate love OUR LORD Jesus has for us. He challenges us as His followers to pick up our cross and to love one another as He loves us. Following Him leads us to the resurrection. Alleluia, He is Risen! Today (for fifty days) we celebrate Life. Christ, who was crucified, died on the Cross for our sins, was buried. He is alive. We celebrate the resurrection of Our Lord. This is the triumph of Jesus over death, death to sin. Three days after His sacrificial death on the cross, Christ is risen! Christ’s body is glorified, not restricted by time or space. Death, where is your sting? This Feast is the culmination of the life and death of our Lord Jesus Christ.

For this reason, each day from Easter until the first Sunday of Easter is Easter day.
