(1) Gunma Univ. Faculty of Engineering Alumni Hall, Gatehouse (10) Former Hirata Store [ Nationally Registered ] and Entrance [ Nationally Registered ] Hirata General Store opened in 1851. The shop & shop warehouse were The Imperial Kiryu Advanced School of Textile Dyeing was est. in constructed in 1900; the residence and storehouse in 1913. The store was 1915. Constructed in 1916, the school became Kiryu Advanced approx. 13 m wide and 35 m deep. The buildings are typical of Engineering School in 1920, and later Kiryu Advanced Engineering Gunma Univ. commercial businesses of the time. Specialty School. In 1949, it became Gunma Univ. Faculty of School of Science Engineering. The Lecture Hall and school building were moved to their & Technology (11) Soga Family Residence [ Nationally Registered ] Arriving in Kiryu in 1894, the Soga family occupied this site, becoming ە .present site in 1973 Alumni Hall is a 2-storey western-style wooden structure with a tile prosperous brewing sake, miso, soy sauce, etc. They procured the roof. The Lecture Hall interior was designed in the style of a medieval  property from the Kakiage family in 1917. The compound is a valuable church. Yamate Street Tenmangu Shrine Kiryu Technical  A 2-sectioned wooden sawtooth roof mill was constructed by Soga [ Prefectural Important Cultural Property ] High School  Tsukematsu in 1917; it had an electric generator & boiler, making it very advanced for its time. Unfortunately, the wooden mill was demolished in ە Tenmangu Shrine (2) Tenmangu was moved to its present location from Hisakata Village in 1992. The remaining 5-sectioned stone sawtooth roof mill was 1591 when it was established as the northernmost end of Kiryu Shin Antique Flea Market N constructed in 1922. (3) Kanaya Lace Sawtooth Roof Mill & Office  /R3 R5 (14) Tamagami Pharmacy [ Hometown Ambiance Award ] ࠉ[ Nationally Registered ]  Originally Kanayoshi Textiles, the company was est. by Kanaya The Tamagami family is one of Kiryu’ s oldest families, opening Yoshijiro during the Meiji Era. The large sawtooth roof mill was  business here when Kiryu Shin Machi was established. At first engaged in completed in Dec 1919 and included 8 sawtooth sections. Sayaichi Market Honcho 1 chome textile manufacturing, the business eventually became a pharmacy. The scratch-tile, 2-storey office building was constructed during in the   early Showa Era. This location was the site of an Edo Era textile business multi-functional space. In 2008 it was the venue for the “Sawtooth Roof  compound. The current building was constructed in the early Meiji Era; Expo.” In 2009 & 2010, with the support of JR East, the office and  the building is now a flower shop residence underwent restoration.  R8 (16) Yurinkan (Former Yano Warehouses) (4)Ichinoyu Machinaka Koryukan [ City Designated Cultural Property ]   Information ] Donated to the city of Kiryu in 1994, the brick buildings cover more ] ە Built during the Meiji Era, Ichinoyu was constructed to serve as a public bath for the employees of a nearby textile mill. The mill is now than 3,700 sq. meters & include a family shrine. The stone warehouse was constructed in 1937; the ە ە ە ە Kiryu Tourism & Products Shop residence and storehouse were constructed in 1953. The stone warehouse  ە FamilyMart “Watarase” underwent renovation and currently serves as a dental office.
