In a career that spans over 25 years, he has served in many leadership roles within the athletic trainer profession, earning a reputation for being one of the top athletic trainers in the National Football League. EDUCATION chapters, the Chiefs had a choice to make this year. We could sit by and allow the virus to dictate our future, or we could adapt our University of Pittsburgh; BS, 1987 strategies and put ourselves in the best possible position to University of Arizona; MS, 1989 compete for another Super Bowl. The choice was clear. In many ways there are lot of similarities between my role with the Chiefs RECOGNITION & BOARD INVOLVEMENT and my time as new member educator of Gamma Sigma Chapter. Just as I did then, I wake up every day asking how I can add value to National Athletic Trainers Association’s President’s Award, the lives of our staff and players and put them in a position to 2017 succeed on and off the field. Men’s Basketball to Compete in Savannah Invitational The Eagles will play two games in the Savannah Civic Center Marc Gignac Getty Images Men's Basketball | 7/28/2016 2:51:00 PM Story Links Buy tickets STATESBORO, Ga. – The Georgia Southern men's basketball team will play in the Savannah Invitational Nov. 20-26, and the Eagles' final two games of the tournament will be in the Savannah Civic Center Nov. 25-26. The Eagles open the tournament at Mercer Nov. 20 and travel to Akron Nov. 22 before meeting Florida A&M (Nov. 25) and Radford (Nov. 26) in the Savannah Civic Center. The contests in Savannah are part of an eight-game slate as Stetson, Mercer, East Carolina, Akron and Air Force will also play games there. "We're ecstatic to be playing two games in front of our fans in Savannah and to be part of a great field for the first Savannah Invitational," said Georgia Southern coach Mark Byington. -

For Immediate Release October 20, 2009 ESPN’s Men’s College Basketball Schedule: Approximately 1,100 Games across Multiple Platforms Second Annual College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon Nov. 17; More than 900 Games on ESPN360.com, including Simulcast of All ESPN and ESPN2 Games; New SEC Agreement Begins; Most Games Ever on ESPNU; College GameDay and Saturday Primetime Return; Special Events, Franchise Programming and More The 2009-10 ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ABC, ESPN360.com, ESPN Mobile TV, ESPN Regional Television and ESPN FULL COURT men’s college basketball schedule will feature approximately 1,100 games beginning Monday, Nov. 9. Highlights include: • The second annual College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon celebrating the start of the season with 12 live games in 24 hours on ESPN on Tuesday, Nov. 17. ESPN games are scheduled to tip off every two hours beginning at 12 a.m. ET (9 p.m. PT Nov. 16) with Cal State Fullerton at UCLA. The game will kick off at 11 am CT on Saturday, DecemBer 23rd on ESPN and will feature teams from the Southeastern Conference and the American Athletic Conference. The Bowl will offer a $15 discount on all tickets if fans order tickets Between OctoBer 1st-15th. In last year’s Birmingham Bowl, the University of South Florida Bulls defeated the South Carolina Gamecocks 46-39 in the first overtime in Birmingham Bowl history.
