2010 TEACHING AMERICAN HISTORY PROJECT

The Heritage Society (PHS), Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC), and the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit (CSIU) began a new teacher professional development project, Keystones of the Federal Union, on March 19, when thirty- two K–6 teachers from central Pennsylvania spent the day at The State Museum of Pennsylvania and Pennsylvania State Archives in Harrisburg. Staff provided a behind-the-scenes tour and sessions on learning from documents and objects.
