them. I succeeded because I found something that I was truly passionate about. I succeeded because I expanded my horizons and met a bunch of wonderful new people. I succeeded because I spent yet another year with my wonderful partner, Alana. Ultimately, I succeeded because I think I made a positive difference to the lives of those around me, and I think that’s something that we can all do. Do not limit yourself to a number. You will always be more than that.

Set your goals and stick to them, whatever they may be. Because if you don’t want to fail, I can assure you that you won’t fail. Sure, failure is always an option, but if it is an option then doesn’t that mean that it is always a choice? So is success, really. Success is really just the choice not to give up, not to stop. It is the choice to come out with two fists swinging. Good luck to everyone this year – I am sure you will make yourselves proud. Thank you.
