While the trend is encouraging, 52 percent of the country’s work-weary still report leaving unused vacation days on the table. (Your Virtuoso travel advisor has ways to remedy that!) Here, a few other depressing findings: ■ Americans forfeited 212 million vacation days in 2017 – equal to $62.2 billion in lost benefits, or $561 per employee. ■ What keeps them from taking vaca- tions?
