Doctoral Training Initiatives

As a research-intensive university, we are involved in a range of Cardiff University dedicated doctoral training programmes including Master’s Excellence l AHRC-funded South, West and Wales DTP Scholarships l BBSRC South West Bioscience DTP l Cancer Research UK PhD Programme Cardiff University has committed to investing up to l EPSRC Catalysis CDT l EPSRC Diamond Science and Technology DTP £500,000 l EPSRC Water Informatics: Science and Engineering CDT l ESRC Wales DTP in a competitive scholarship scheme to support UK and EU students l GW4 BioMed MRC DTP planning to start a taught master’s degree or MRes at the University l NERC CDT in Oil & Gas in September 2018. l NERC GW4+ DTP These scholarships will be applied as a tuition fee discount l Wellcome Trust 4-year PhD in Integrative Neuroscience of a minimum of £3,000.
