PARENTS... Please note that there are three events on the Nabby calendar for YOU!!! At Parents Visiting Day each year, we overhear so many Moms and Dads (and Grandparents!) wishing you could come to camp and have as much fun as your children...so, we thought “why not?” These events range from Hollyrock Night (pitting Dads vs Moms in trivia questions, Simon Says, and various hilarious “athletic” events), Daddy Dodgeball (oh yeah...complete with T-shirts and an EMT on duty!) and Family Zumba Night for all ages and skill levels! All these events are great fun and last year were enjoyed by all who attended. We look forward to seeing you there!

Camp Nabby celebrated the Fourth of July last week with our Red, White and Blue Day. Some of our campers, as well as Rikki, our Special Events Head, went all out!

ARTS AND CRAFTS

Meet Angela, Haley and Emma...the creative minds behind all the arts and crafts the Nabby campers bring home. This year, Head Counselor Angela has some fun and exciting projects for all ages. Look for the Pre K and Kindergarten groups to create pinch pots, Matisse collages, clay owls, bubble paintings and more! The 1st and 2nd graders will bring home mosaics, Pollack marble paintings, Giacometti plaster figures and wire jewelry to name a few. The 3rd graders will be excited to make football pillows, tie dye items and paper marbling with shaving cream! The 4th and 5th grade girls will be creating heart pillows and paper mâché insects, while the campers who choose art for their interest period will come home with mosaic plant stools and dreamcatchers, as well as other projects. It looks like another terrific summer in “The Art Shack”!

Ahh...the Cubs! Everyone’s selection for the cutest Boys going into second grade comprise the Harvard group at group in camp! These Pre Kindergartners just love Nabby. Lead by Head Counselor Ken, Asst. counselors Justin, Nabby and their smiles and the twinkle in their Aaron and CIT Ben, these boys are constantly in motion and eyes show it. When not playing on the fields, the always excited to come to camp each day! Let’s see what playground or in the pool, they can be easily found makes the boys of Harvard tick... around the adorable PURPLE house with the crooked Favorite Food - Ice Cream, Pretzels, Fruit windows! They were VERY excited to share all their favorite things with the Nabby News! Favorite Super Hero - Superman, Night Wing, Aaron (hmm - who knew?)
