Reporting that UNICEF and AFD signed a grant agreement to renovate the new building of Karantina Hospital, in the presence of the Minister of Public Health
The Ministry of Public Health issued a report of the national vaccination campaign from 13 to 27 February 2021, which showed that 46,971 citizens had received the vaccine on date, 34,884 of them according to a predetermined date through the platform and 12,087 of them according to a predetermined date with the centers approved for vaccination by the ministry. Lebanese Army Forces
- The army units continue to distribute social aid (400,000 Lebanese pounds) to families with limited income in all Lebanese territories. - Distributing food aid in various Lebanese regions through the CIMIC Office.
General Directorate of Internal Security Forces
Coinciding with the phase of gradually easing the closure restrictions, the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces began, periodically and intensively, to direct periodically from its operational units to inspect the institutions that have reopened their doors, to ensure the extent of their commitment to the necessary and safe procedures to start work, so that the number of these institutions reached 2930 / On various Lebanese lands (banks, supermarkets, maintenance companies, factories, and others ...). It stated that the elements of the Internal Security Forces are taking appropriate measures during the detection, such as ensuring the correct registration of these institutions, their employees through the official platform, as well as the results of their PCR examinations, and if they are duly listed, through the aforementioned platform. General Directorate of State Security
Reporting the number of new positive cases in the various governorates and the cases in home quarantine.
Follow up on the procedures performed by the medical teams at the arrival’s examination centers at the airport and at the land borders.
The General Directorate of Public Security announced that, based on the decision of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers related to updating the strategy to confront the "Corona" virus and the stages of gradually easing the closure restrictions, the Lebanese and their family members stranded in Syria and wishing to return to Lebanon will be allowed to enter Lebanon through the Al-Masnaa and Aboudieh border centers on 10/03/2021. From 9:00 until 18:00, if they have a PCR examination with a negative result of no more than 96 hours from Syria, if they undergo a PCR examination at the border again by the teams of the Ministry of Public Health.

General Decisions / Announcements
A statement was issued by the National Operations Room for Disaster Management on 3/7/2021, supplementing the executive statements of Resolution No. 96 / M on 6/2/2021 related to updating the strategy to confront the Coronavirus and the stages of gradual easing of the closure restrictions, particularly in terms of starting the third phase scheduled for 08 / 03/2021 and according to the data issued on 2/2021 and 2/3/2021, which are still valid, as the institutions that do not need to be registered on the platform have been modified without the citizens having to obtain permission to go to them and which will be eligible to reopen according to their ability To comply with all mandatory measures listed in the link https://bit.ly/3dUFQ8f which includes:
• Departments of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the Car Registration Authority with all its branches and services: You do not need permission from the platform, but citizens must obtain permission from the platform to go to it.
• Offices (institutions / companies), hotels, hair salons: they do not require a work permit, but citizens must obtain permission to go to them.
• Professionals (carpentry, plumbing, etc.): They do not need permission or anyone who wants to go to it. (The employer must conduct PCR tests for workers and present them upon request)
The Ministry of Education and Higher Education issued Decision No. 67 / M / 2021 regarding the suspension of distance teaching work in all schools, high schools, and public and private institutes from the morning of Monday 8 March 2021 until the evening of Sunday 14 March 2021.
The Committee for Follow-up of Preventive Measures and Procedures headed by the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Defense Major General Mahmoud Al-Asmar held a meeting on 4/3/2021, where a recommendation was raised to the Ministry of Public Health to deposit the National Operations Room for Disaster Management at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers within a week from its date of the following data for months December 2020, January and February 2021
• The number of people according to the age group of people with corona who were admitted to hospitals (regular rooms) and the number of days they spent in treatment
• The number of people according to the age group of people with corona who were admitted to hospitals (intensive care rooms) and the number of days they spent in treatment
• The daily number of Corona patients who (entered / discharged) from hospitals (normal beds / intensive care)
• The number of deaths due to corona infection (normal beds / intensive care)
• The daily number of people infected with Corona who were transferred to hospitals from normal beds to intensive care and vice versa.
