Please remember the Radzikowski family during this time of bereavement. ioneer Edsel Sales Inc. was the name of the Edsel dealership located in Lancaster, P California. The dealership opened for business in September 1957 and subsequently folded—along with the Edsel. Fast forward a decade later to Bremerton, Washington and the summer of 1968. A college student named Greg is performing some volunteer service for senior citizens in the com- munity. On one occasion he is helping a retired Ford mechanic, presumably “Mr. Agon”, to move. While loading boxes in the man’s car, one full of old clothes popped open and on top of the stack inside was the Pioneer Edsel coveralls. Greg took the coveralls out of the box for a closer look. As he was holding them the man said he could have them if he wanted—that box is going to the trash! As luck would have it the overalls fit Greg per- Extra Copies of the fectly. Often he had been urged to throw those old paint stained coveralls away. Fortunately, just as Your Price: back in 1968, he did not. $10 for 1st copy $8.00 each additional copy Although never destined to be examined on the same level of magnitude as the “Shroud of Contact : Turin”, a less-than-scientific study of this treasured artifact reveals that Agon most likely Sheila Randel for availability worked in the dealership’s paint and body repair department based upon the numerous Ice 5989 Maplewood Road Mentor-on-the-Lake, OH 44060 Green and Horizon Blue paint stains found on the garment. However, both the sleeve length and the leg length had been taken up. It is as- sumed they were tailored for Agon since Greg said the overalls remain just as he found them in 1968. The Edsel logo “E” patch is three-inch diameter. The name “Agon” above the right pocket and “Pioneer Edsel” on back are both embroidered by hand. This was common practice for labeling dealership work uniforms in the fifties. AND how many programs do you know that did NOT benefit from Lessons Discovered on similar programs? AND why did they not benefit ???? Dave Hall Lessons Discovered Session 1 Why We Are Not Using Lessons Discovered – Thinking in System Terms When you identify a Lesson Discovered, you are calling into question the wisdom of earlier decisions made by yourself, others or your management.
