2018 Camp Lunch Service and Menu

Based on the feedback we received from our 2017 Camper/Parent Surveys, new for our 2018 lunch program, we have asked our chef to create a summer menu that focuses on variety rather than repetition. Friday will still be our pizza day; however, the Monday through Thursday menu will change weekly.

We are continuing to contract with Flik Independent School Dining to provide healthy, yummy, and nutritious camp and school lunches that are prepared onsite daily in our athletic and dining hall.

Our Chef Manager, Gerry Gardner, has been the Executive Chef of The Crowne Plaza, Gettysvue Country Club, and The Knoxville Hilton. And that just starts the list of restaurants he has led in his career.

Following the Flik guidelines and procedures:

 We prepare our from whole fresh ingredients, limiting the use of processed foods and avoiding products containing artificial colors, flavorings, M.S.G., preservatives, and high levels of sodium.  We feature organic, local and Fair Trade and as availability & pricing allows.  In our effort to become more socially responsible we have moved to using only biodegradable paper products.  We use cleaning compounds which are much less toxic to the environment than conventional chemicals, and contain less packaging.

Lunches may be ordered by the week, but they must be ordered by 12:00 noon on the Monday prior to the week you are wanting lunches. Due to the chef’s ordering schedule and inventory there are no exceptions. When choosing your lunch option online, please choose Traditional (may have meat), Vegetarian, or Gluten Free.
