NEWSLETTER 150 (April 02, 2014) RECOMMENDED ARBITERS FROM EUROPE FOR CHESS OLYMPIAD 2014 IN TROMSO President of the European Chess Union Mr. Silvio Danailov has sent a letter to FIDE President Mr. Kirsan Ilyumzhinov with the list of 12 recommended Arbiters from Europe for the forthcoming Olympiad 2014 in Tromso, Norway. Chief Arbiter of the tournament, organized by the Azerbaijani Chess Federation, was IA Namig Ismayilov. Chief Arbiter of the tournament, organized by the Estionian Chess Federation, was Peep Narusberg. Ivanchuk scored amazing 13 points out of 14, with a rating performance of 3059 points! He started with 9 out of 9, which is a truly remarkable start, and finally finished with 12 wins and only two draws.
