General Winemaking Theory: My market influenced style can readily be assessed by sampling my wines already in market, or by observing the numerous wine awards and reading the wine reviews. Wines are made in the vineyard, where the climate, soils and determine ultimate potential. Traditional techniques, scientific understanding and prevailing technology combine to make the best wines. I prefer a data-driven evidence based approach and methodology for winemaking and business sustainability that relies on the sum of my experience and peer reviewed evidence from research labs and the marketplace.
