Expanding Families One Pet at a Time December 2016 Priceless TM Celebrating the Bond Between Humans and Animals PawPrints Magazine's Homeless cover Model What’s on my Christmas Wish List? Just one thing: a Family! I'm Peanut and I’m just a big ole sweet, laid-back, Lab mix boy who loves his humans. Photo by: Michael Cline Photography At 1-year-old and 65 pounds, I’m just a big baby. I am very gentle and am great with other dogs and children. In fact, my foster family trusts me with their Chihuahuas. My foster mom is so proud of me because I haven't had any accidents in the house. My foster family is teaching me how to walk on a leash and how to play fetch. I'm doing well and like all the attention, but I'm a little lazy. I don't like being left alone, and my favorite activity is snuggling with my humans. I long for a home where someone will love me as much as I'll love them, someone who will feed me (a lot), scratch my back and belly, and play with me. Oh yeah, if it wouldn't be too much to ask, I really like lots of chew toys! My foster mom says I will melt your heart, just like I did hers. If you’d like to meet me, please call Cape Fear Rescue League at 910-207-2071 or email [email protected] and let’s get together! I’d now like to thank Michael Cline Photography for taking such a beautiful photo of me and giving me a chance to shine! Perhaps I’ll be spending my first fur-ever Christmas with someone reading this right now. Could that be you?
