1. JAMMU & POWER DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION LIMITED, (hereinafter referred to as “the JKSPDC" or "the Owner”) an Enterprise of Govt. of Jammu & Kashmir, , responsible for planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance of Power Projects in the State of Jammu and Kashmir, India, proposes to construct Durbuk-Shyok Hydroelectric Project 19 MW (02 X 9.5 MW) capacity located near village - Durbuk in District , Jammu & Kashmir, India, through International Competitive Bidding (ICB) under EPC Turnkey Lump Sum Fixed Cost Basis. 2. The JKSPDC hereby invites the E – RFQ cum RFP (herein after also referred to as the "Bid ") for Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) of Durbuk-Shyok Hydroelectric Project 19 MW (02 X 9.5 MW) capacity located near village - Durbuk in District Leh, Jammu & Kashmir, India. 3. The Bids shall be submitted alongwith a non-refundable bid-document fees of Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakh only) in the shape of a crossed Demand Draft payable to General Manager (Accounts), Jammu, JKSPDC, payable at Jammu, J&K. 4. The Bids shall be accompanied by a bid security for an amount of Rs.5,00,00,000/- (Rupees Five Crore Only) in the shape of a Bank Guarantee as per the details given in the tender document. 5. 6. 7. 8. Applications received after the last date and time of receipt as stipulated above shall not be considered. 9. Only the proposal of those applicants shall be considered for evaluation of RFP who meet the qualification criteria set forth in the RFQ. 10. Any corrigendum/modification to Bid Documents shall be available on e-tendering portal www.jktenders.gov.in and JKSPDC official website www.jkspdc.nic.in. The Applicants are advised, in their own interest, to visit these websites on a regular basis. 11. Applicants, in their own interest, may visit the project site to adequately familiarize themselves about the Project site conditions before submitting the bid. 12. The JKSPDC reserves the right to reject all or any of the Application/s or any subsequent bids without assigning any reason thereof and shall not be bound to accept the lowest or any other Bid or to give any reason for such decision. 13. Price quoted by the bidder/s shall be inclusive of all taxes, duty, levies etc. Nothing extra shall be paid to the bidders over and above the contract price.
