George Condy 31:49 11/12/94 SW Missouri/Stewart Bill Porter 24:45 10/29/94 Southern Illinois Seth Cousins 24:45 09/09/17 ISU/Gibson Scott Keeney Scott Keeney was the first cross country athlete at Indiana State to earn first-team all-MVC recognition four straight years (2006-09) culminating with a fifth place finish at the 2009 championships while running with a broken back. He is also a three-time MVC scholar-athlete selection, re- ceived ESPN the Magazine all-district academic honors three times, and was named a United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Academic All-American in 2008 and USTFCCCA All-District V Academic First Teeam selection in 2010. He also received the 2010 MVC Dr. Charlotte West Scholar-Athlete Award and the 2010 MVC Emerson Excellence Award. A three-time team captain and two- time team MVP, he twice earned the Indiana State cross country team Leadership Award while helping Indiana State to two MVC cross coun- try titles in his four years. The senior is a three-time member of both the MVC Cross Country Scholar-Athlete team and the MVC Track & Field Scholar-Athlete team. He was an All-Great Lakes Region selection in 2008 when he finished 13th in the Great Lakes Region Cross Coun- try Championships which qualified him for the NCAA Championships where he finished 196th.
