Tournament classes are open to riders who have not shown at a USEF rated shows or any NEHC or state (Maine Horse Association, NHH&T, Mass Horsemen’s Council etc.) affiliated show. They are permitted to show in regular classes at non-rated shows such as Rowley Riding and Driving, Silver Heels or any other non-rated show. All classes will work both ways of the ring at the required gaits. Headers for lead line riders must be 18 years of age or older. Horses competing in the Seacoast Morgan Tournament are subject to the guidelines of USEF rules and regulations. Horses must meet all health requirements as described under Exhibitor Information in this Prize list. Rider Attire: Helmets approved for horseback riding (not bicycle helmets) are required. Riders MUST wear appropriate boots. Saddle Seat -Kentucky , boots, shirt, tie and vest. No full saddle suits are allowed. Hunter Seat - , jodhpur/paddock boots, hunt shirt. Western boots, western style shirt, tie or pin, appropriate pants, chaps (optional). Adult riders may wear tall boots. No coats allowed. Drivers may have a chaperone in the cart.
