Susanna Branchini, born in Rome to Italian father and Caribbean mother, graduates with honors at the Morlacchi Music Conservatory in Perugia and then participates successfully at many international competitions: finalist in both Toulouse and As.Li.Co. and winner of the Mattia Battistini. In 2002 she debuts at Teatro dell’ in Rome as Micaela in Carmen, soon followed by Liù in Turandot and Mimì in La Bohème.

She also feels comfortable both with Puccini’s heroins like Tosca, Madama Butterfly, Suor Angelica, Giorgetta in Il tabarro and Turandot and in “verismo” repertoire where she can range from through Andrea Chénier to Cavalleria rusticana.
