This summer, The Place to Start, a program of the Allegheny General Hospital (AGH) - Northside Part- nership, has been encouraging a healthy lifestyle and helping the community discover the health and wellness resources available to them at the Northside Farmer’s Market. California Coffee Bar provided super food smooth- ie samples and people enjoyed them so much that they wanted the recipe to make it at home for a healthy snack. In addition, there have been many children interested in learning yoga. The AGH Partnership Coordinator and certified fitness instructor, Lauren DeDomenic, taught the kids different poses and stretches that they can do at home to relax or exercise! The program has been extended into September be- cause of the increase in attendance of the farmers market and interest in more opprotunities to learn how to stay healthy on the Northside. In the upcoming months, more activities and giveaways will happen like Just Walk! - a
