Γ’, σελ. 2755 Field of Expertise Advanced Computational Methods for the Design of Materials with non-linear optical character e-mail [email protected] Research Interests • Computational Materials Science. Nonlinear Optical properties (NLO). Design of materials with specific or enhanced NLO. Understanding of the physical origins of the NLO response and the systematic study of the relationship between molecular structure and NLO response, elucidation of mechanisms associated with structure-property and stuctute- polarization relationship. Systems of interest (but not limited): Polyaromatic hydrocarbons, small molecules with donor/acceptor groups, molecular clusters, Graphene and derivatives, Fullerene derivatives, functionalized fullerenes, Metal Dithiolenes and related derivatives. • Computational drug design: Molecular Descriptors (size, shape, polarization, aromaticity, energy gap) of molecules of pharmacological interest and analysis of interactions for the binding of small molecules and nanoparticles.

• Scientific Computations, with applications in Physics, Chemistry , Biology
