I was born and brought up in the automotive powerhouse of Germany and, like my father, have always had a passion for cars and motor sport. So when I got the chance to be an apprentice in the industry, I seized it. After that I graduated to work as a technical engineer, before rising to workshop supervisor.

When I moved to Dubai in 2001, I worked as workshop foreman for another independent Porsche specialist. By mid-2004, I was promoted to general manager and then after-sales manager.

After more than six successful years in Dubai, I decided to follow my dream of setting up my own business. Exploiting my knowledge for Porsche and other luxury car brands, I set up Alex Renner Motors in early 2008.
