Talking about his career path and his struggles with securing a team, he urged students to “not let anyone tell them that there is a shortcut to success” and urged them to “savour these awards”. He measures success by how many other people he makes successful in his daily life.

Students were commended for their hard work and dedication throughout the year in all subjects, with particular emphasis on hardship and achievement through adversity.

Reuben ended the presentation by saying that he wanted to give back to the school that gave him the opportunities (through work experience).
