Bus Service 128 COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT MEETING

Passenger transport is changing in and, at the same time as the county council is facing signifi cant fi nancial challenges, we are also trying to offer a better service to residents. The county council has developed a new Passenger Transport Policy and Strategy (PTPS) to ensure its passenger transport provision is fi t for purpose and cost-effective. We are reviewing all contracted services across the county. The review of service 128 ( - ) is now complete and the intended course of action is to replace the bus service with a demand responsive transport (DRT) service that passengers would book in advance of travelling.

The council would now like to invite you to a community engagement meeting so that you can help shape the DRT service for the future.
