PRESS RELEASE 5 July 2017 Rounds 13 & 14 – Oschersleben – 8 / 9 July 2017 PREVIEW The TCR International Series returns to Oschersleben The TCR International Series returns to Oschersleben’s Motorsport Arena for the second consecutive year. Built in 1997 and partially modified in 2007, this modern racetrack has always been a favourite of Touring Car drivers for its demanding layout that offers several opportunities to overtake and German fans enjoy the door-to-door battles between the cars. Last year, Mat’o Homola claimed his first TCR win in the first race, beating Dušan Borković and James Nash who finished second and third again in the second race that was won by Pepe Oriola. The SEAT cars dominated the event, as they filled the top-five places in both races. This year the TCR competitors will use the circuit’s older layout that includes the smoother “esses” at the end of the pit straight instead of the sharper left-hander. This is to limit the risk of a pile up at the start and to favour overtaking manoeuvres. Track activity will be concentrated into two days: two Free Practice sessions and the Qualifying on Saturday, with both races on Sunday. For Immediate Release – Wednesday 16 th March 2011 SILVERLINE CHEVROLET CONFIRM THEIR RETURN IN BTCC 2011 Defending champions, RML Silverline-Chevrolet have confirmed they will make their much anticipated return this year to the UK's favourite motor racing series, the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship. With the ever-popular pairing of last year's champion Jason Plato and rising star Alex MacDowall officially signed up, the team is looking ahead with excitement to the opening round which takes place at Brands Hatch in less than three weeks on 2 nd & 3 rd April. Joining the field again this year is the fiercely competitive RML-run Silverline Chevrolet Cruze which will appear in a different guise as Jason and Alex get to grips with the 2010 WTCC chassis, as raced to Drivers' and Manufacturers' titles with Yvan Muller, Rob Huff, Alain Menu and RML – the touring car giants of the modern era - in the FIA World Touring Car Championship. The Wellingborough-based squad has yet to unveil the striking 2011 challenger in full livery with the complete group of partners, which will take place at the BTCC Media Day, Silverstone, on 24 th March. But a successful test on the Brands Hatch Indy track last week alongside other series' front-runners saw the Cruzes run for the first time on UK soil in BTCC trim since their return from Macau last December. The team is confident they've got the package to beat with Jason, Alex and a technically advanced Silverline Chevrolet Cruze that looks set to be even more impressive on track than its predecessor. -

Each of the four factory Ford GTs will bear a livery that celebrates the success of the manufacturer at Le Mans, both in the present day and during the 1960s. The 2019 Le Mans 24 Hours is the final Le Mans for the current factory Ford GT programme, marking the close of another great chapter at Le Mans for the factory Fords. “In 2016, Ford returned to Le Mans to mark the 50th anniversary of our incredible 1966 win and we celebrated in the best way possible by winning the race,” said Bill Ford, executive chairman, Ford Motor Company. “To stand on that podium on behalf of the employees was a proud moment for me and I look forward returning to Le Mans this year to support the team as we approach our final race in this chapter.” When the four factory Ford GTs arrive at the famous La Sarthe Circuit at Le Mans later today, they will be seen for the very first time in the new liveries, each of which has a special meaning.
