LEARN TO SWIM LESSONS Orange’s Learn to Swim program on Saturday mornings is designed for children of all ages and abilities. Groups have low student/instructor ratios so students are encouraged to move at their own pace. If you have questions about your child’s level when registering, please call Sandra at 216-831-8601 ext. 2316. Instructors will move children to the appropriate level on the first day of class.

FIVE WAYS TO REGISTER!

WINTER ACTIVITY REGISTRATION FAIR Thursday, January 5 from 6pm-7:30pm

Orange Community Education & Recreation will begin accepting registrations for all classes & events at the Activity Registration Fair at the Pepper Pike Learning Center. This is the first opportunity for Orange School District residents to register for programs and activities.

In Person Registration Thursday evening, January 5 from 6pm-7:30pm is the first opportunity for Orange School district residents to register for programs and activities. Non-resident registration begins Friday, January 6 and continues for both residents and non-residents throughout the season or until classes are closed. You can register using check (made out to Orange BOE), money order or credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Discover). All registrations should be completed 48 hours (2 days) prior to the start of class unless noted with a specific deadline.

Online Registration Beginning Thursday, January 5 at 6:00pm, residents can register online by going to www.orangerec.com and follow the prompts for online registration. Visa, MasterCard and Discover card payments are accepted for online registration. Non-residents may register online beginning Friday, January 6 at 9:00am. Online registration is available until 48 hours (2 days) prior to the start of classes unless noted with a specific deadline.

Mail In Registration Beginning Friday, January 6 at 9:00am, mail-in registrations, with a check, money order or credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Discover) will be accepted. Use the registration form included on the back inside cover of this brochure or download a registration form at www.orangerec.com. Registrations for anyone under the age of 18 must include emergency medical information.

Email Registration Beginning Friday, January 6 at 9:00am, email registrations, with a credit card (MasterCard, Visa or Discover) will be accepted. Download the registration form at www.orangerec.com and email registration and payment information to [email protected].

Phone Registration (for Adult Programs) Beginning Friday, January 6 at 9:00am, phone in registrations for adult programs only will be accepted. Please call 216-831-8601 to use a credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Discover).

Refund Policy Refunds are available for classes and activities (unless otherwise specified) provided that the program coordinator is notified 3 business days prior to the class or activity start date. If the class is filled or cancelled due to low enrollment, you will be given the opportunity to switch to another class, obtain a letter of credit for the same activity area, or obtain a refund. A processing fee of $5 will be charged for all refunds initiated by the customer. A letter of credit will be issued for refunds of $10 or less. All registrations must be completed 48 hours (2 days) prior to the start of class. ACTIVITY REGISTRATION FAIR PROCEDURES ON THURSDAY, JANUARY 5 from 6pm-7:30pm

For Residents Registering at the Activity Registration Fair…  You are a resident if you live in the Orange School District (Hunting Valley Moreland Hills, Orange, Pepper Pike, Woodmere and portions of Solon, Bedford Heights and Warrensville Heights) AND you pay your taxes to the Orange School District.  On Thursday, January 5, Pepper Pike Learning Center’s front doors open at 6:00pm for resident registration.  Residents will enter the front doors at 6:00pm and receive a registration number

Non-Resident Registration Begins Friday, January 6 at 9:00am  On Friday, January 6, non-residents may begin registering at 9:00am in person, online, by fax or email.  Registration for adult classes can also be made by phone.

Residents Registering Another Resident Family Other Than Their Own at the Activity Registration Fair…  You must register your own family first by following the guidelines in this brochure.  After completing their own registration, residents may obtain a second registration number to register a second resident family and wait until their number is called.  You may only register one additional resident family at the Fair.

PLEASE NOTE:  All registrants must have a registration number to register at the Fair.  If a class becomes full, the department makes every effort to accommodate registrants by opening additional sections of popular classes whenever possible. Therefore registrants are encouraged to sign the class wait list if your desired class is full.

 Please be patient if registering online. There will be a great deal of online registration activity during the first week of registration.
