Distinctions-Scholarships-Grants 2008: 1st place in the case study of the “International Business Program 2008” organized by Deloitte-New York and had to do with different perspectives of pensions, like merger and acquisition (how the pension scheme of the acquitted firm is affected by the merger in case that it is different from the scheme of the other firm), employee benefits and pension accounting. 2009: Best proposal in the frame of my participation in the course “Seminar: Competitiveness of European Economy” (instructors: Erik Brower and ) for the Tilburg university project “Continuous Innovation in Education” (together with Emre Koc and Ekrem Kalkan). The proposal illustrates ways in which the use of information technologies can improve the quality of education. 2009: Qualification to the final round of the international econometric competition “Econometric Game 2009” as a participant of the representative 5-member team of Tilburg University.
