Nursing courses for the academic session 2020-21. Sir/Madam, The provisional allocation of seats during the 2nd round of online counselling have been made on the basis of the information/data filled by the candidates in the online application form w.e.f. 25.12.2020 to 03.01.2021 on the Himachal Pradesh University website www.hpuniv.ac.in. Therefore, I am directed to send herewith a list of the candidates who have been allocated seats provisionally college-wise, Speciality-wise as well as category-wise in order of merit-cum-choices/preferences of the colleges filled, in the online application form by the candidates as per merit drawn by the University for provisional admissions to M.Sc. courses in the respective Govt./Private Nursing Colleges for the academic session 2020-21 (Annexure-A & B) against State/ Management Quota against vacant seats arises after Ist round of online counselling . However, the allocation of seats to the colleges concerned for admission to the aforesaid courses is provisional and subject to final verification of eligibility criteria with reference to all requisite original certificates/documents by the Admission Committee of the college concerned and further medical fitness as well as completion of other pre- admission requirements including remittance of fee and other dues as per provisions of the prospectus. The print out of the online application form along with all requisite certificates/documents duly self attested may kindly be obtained along with Provisional Allocation Letter from the candidate concerned while verifying the eligibility criteria by the Committee of the college and the same may be kept for the record. Before granting admission to the candidates, the eligibility criteria may kindly be ensured strictly as per provisions of the prospectus. The SOP’s issued by the Government of India and State Government may be strictly followed during admission process. Cont....P....2 2. The minimum one year work experience for direct candidates is essentially required at the time of admission as per provision of the prospectus, which is reproduced below:- ‘’Minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing and after B.Sc. Nursing from the date of registration at the time of counselling.” 3. The candidates who have been allocated seats for admissions to M.Sc. Nursing Courses have been issued provisional allotment letters, which has been uploaded on the University website www.hpuniv.ac.in and they have been directed to report in person to their respective allocated colleges on 12.01.2021 for completing all pre-admission requirements as per provisions of the prospectus along with remittance of fee, failing which their claim for admission shall stand forfeited/cancelled. However, candidate (s) who is not able to report in person to the allocated college due to COVID-19-Pademic(Home-Quarantine or Containment Zone), she may depute authorized representative with documentary proof of COVID-19/Containment Zone and authority letter along with all requisite documents and fee as per provisions 4 & 5 at page No. 7 & 8 of the prospectus 4. This paper aims at underlying the role of Shimla Municipal Corporation (SMC) as local government in managing disasters in the city along with effective planning and risk assessments. The heritage institution originating from a rich legacy stands tall with its promise of value-oriented education in today’s competitive world. Nestled amidst lush green Cedars and mighty Oaks the charm of the edifice is sufficient to command rapt attention and attraction by the pedestrians walking on the road past its hallowed gate. A huge playground invitingly greets the arrival of the students in the campus. The main building facing the playground houses the Administrative Block and Computer Laboratories, reminding one of the days of yore, when the jungle of concrete buildings had not defaced the ‘Queen of Hills’. The college was constructed way back in April 1869 by Harriet Christina Tytler as an institution for industrial orphanage under the name of Himalayan Christina Orphanage and named as North Stoneham. Later in 1872, the same institution was reconstituted as the Mayo Industrial School for female orphans and other girls of European extraction. However, later it was rebuilt and opened for use on March 1, 1905 during the Lieutenant- Governorship of Sir Charles Rivoz, K.C.S.I. and the Episcopate of the Reverend George Alfred Lefroy, D.D., the third Bishop of Lahore.
