The nearest railway station to St Andrews is Leuchars (5 miles) on the main line from London King's Cross via Edinburgh. By Bus: If you arrive on a day other than Sunday, you will need to take two busses: First the 747/JET747 from Edinburgh Airport to Ferrytoll Park & Ride. Your best deal is to book with St Andrews Direct. You need to book your taxi at least 5 days ahead. The maximum price per cab is £60. From London: If you fly into London, there is also the option to boarding the Eastcoast train at King’s Cross Station in London and exit at Leuchars station in Scotland.
