In this months editorial I thought perhaps the subject should be on Prayer seeing as we are approaching 'Thy Kingdom Come'. When I heard that quote I felt that was I was thinking recently about everyone's exactly what my prayers were. God attitudes towards prayer. Some of us are giving me opportunities. The very private with our prayers and would be opportunity to trust and let go, to be horrified at the thought of praying out loud thankful, to be at peace and give my whilst others would be more than focus to just HIM, to think of others comfortable in laying their hands on and not just about myself but to know someone and gifting them with a prayer. that I can ask for healing for myself or for strength in certain situations but I wish that I was the latter but I'm afraid to most importantly, prayer gave me the say that I am one of those people who feel opportunity to have a relationship extremely uneasy saying a prayer out loud, with Jesus. which is funny seeing as I spend most of my day in prayer. My prayers are more of a Personally I think that is the most continued conversation, a daily routine in important part of prayer. No two fact. people are the same, we all approach worship and life from different angles, When I first became a Christian I felt bold in the same applies to our methods of my prayers and the power of them. I prayer. I put my hand on my achieved things that I never thought I would forehead when I pray which some may be able to if it wasn't for my prayer to God think odd but it's what works for me and my trust in him. My favourite line in a and as long as that dialogue is kept film comes from the movie 'Evan almighty' open, surely that's all that matters? when Morgan freeman says; Jessica " If someone prays for patience, do you think God gives them patience? Or does he give them the opportunity to be patient? If he prayed for courage, does God give him courage, or does he give him opportunities to be courageous? If someone prayed for the family to be closer, do you think God zaps them with warm fuzzy feelings, or does he give them opportunities to love each other?." PENTECOST S u n d a y 2 0 t h M a y

'When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of EVE OF SHOW them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as SERVICE the Spirit enabled them.'
