Admissions Requirements to the BS

APPLICANT ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS • Application for admission must be made on the Undergraduate Application for Admission. The application must be signed by the applicant and returned to the Office of Admissions. A nonrefundable application fee of $30 must be submitted, and is not credited to tuition and fees. • Official transcript(s) of credits earned, entrance credits accepted and results of standardized tests administered must be forwarded in a sealed envelope or a secure electronic transmission directly from each institution attended to the Office of Admissions. A combined, minimum, cumulative grade point average of a 2.0 must be achieved in order to be considered for general admission. • Applicants who have completed fewer than 24 credits must also submit official high school transcripts. SAT or ACT scores are required if the applicant has been out of high school less than two years. • Shenandoah University guarantees admission to Virginia Community College System students who have completed an associate’s degree with a minimum 2.5 grade point average.
