Secretario de EstadoPresidente CSD Estimado Presidente: Hemos recibido tu escrito de 19 de abril de 2016 informándonos de la decisión adoptada por FIBA EUROPE el viernes 15 de abril de 2016 de pérdida de derechos de participación de la selección española de baloncesto senior masculina en las competiciones organizadas por FIBA EUROPE, en particular, el Campeonato de Europa de Baloncesto a celebrar en el año 2017. En tu escrito nos emplazas a informarte sobre los acuerdos adoptados en la Asamblea de 4 de abril de 2014, que aportemos el contrato suscrito con ECA, que procedamos cautelarmente a la suspensión de los efectos del acuerdo alcanzado con ECA y finalmente que formulemos alegaciones que deberán presentarse en la FEB antes de las 14 horas del día 20 de abril. A la vista de la gravedad de la decisión adoptada por FIBA EUROPE y a tu solicitud de suspensión del acuerdo de la Asamblea de 4 de abril y en especial atendida la flagrante la contradicción entre los fundamentos de la sanción y las comunicaciones que hemos recibido de FIBA EUROPE en los últimos meses en relación a este asunto, con carácter previo a poder analizar con la claridad que exige la suspensión solicitada y reservándonos en derecho de revisar y ampliar estas alegaciones, precisamos se aclaren por parte de FIBA los siguientes extremos: 1. También nos ha servido para descubrir que en la tierra de los sueños se habla español. Una lengua que une culturas y que a veces parece más valorada al otro lado del Atlántico que en nuestro con- tinente, donde recientemente ha sido relegada por la unión europea en beneficio del inglés, francés y alemán.
