Bainbridge Fully Staffs Station 23 … Our Island neighbors will celebrate the full-time staffing of a third station – Station 23 on Phelps Road – on Saturday, November 5 from 1 – 3 p.m. The public is invited to enjoy live demonstrations, station tours and more.

Dramatic Fire Rescue Video … Click here to see dramatic helmet-cam footage of San Diego firefighters’ efforts to save three children from a raging house fire. Despite the firefighters’ valiant efforts, one 12 year-old child lost his life while two younger children were critically- burned. It’s important to note that the fire was started by combustibles too close to a space heater. Furthermore, there were no working smoke alarms in the home.

Academy Update … At the end of week six, instructors tapped Russell Fergus as the third Bulldog for the current academy. Next week marks week eight and the recruits’ trip to North Bend for live fire training …

Changes at Morgan Stanley … According to AA Moran, word on the street is that Morgan Stanley advisor Justin O’Brien has resigned his position. Apparently, he and his family are moving to Alaska to be closer to family. If Justin has been your advisor, you should call Bruce Bennett to set up a get-acquainted appointment …
