Defensive Backs A native of Indiana, Pa., Douds was a high school coach in Erie, Pa. for two years and an assistant Dan Boyke (Culver-Stockton [Mo.] '13), 1st year coach at West Virginia University for one year before accepting an assistant coach position at ESU. • Asst. at Culver-Stockton in 2013 He started as the Warriors’ tight ends and linebackers coach under head coach Charlie Reese, and then became the team’s defensive coordinator in 1968. TB Robert Healy highlighted another strong offensive performance and ESU head coach Denny Douds entered the NCAA's all-division top 10 in games coached in ESU's 48-21 win over Lock Haven. Douds coached his 422nd career game, all at ESU, tying Delaware's Tubby Raymond for 10th on the NCAA all-division list. Douds set the DII record in 2011 and improved to 247-172-3 in his 41st season. Soltes was 21-for-32 for 301 yards, 4 TD and 2 Int. and ran for 15 yards and a TD, coming off a 532-yard, 5-TD performance at Edinboro. Healy carried 15 times for 117 yards and a TD and had 2 catches for 26 yards, all in the 1st half. He entered as one of two players in DII with 150+ yards rushing and receiving. LHU capitalized on an ESU turnover to take a 7-0 lead in the first 3 minutes, but the Warriors responded with the next 41 points and led 41-14 at halftime.
