Hi Jessica,

Thank you for taking some time to talk with me yesterday. As I had mentioned my reason for reaching out to the City is to start conversation and see where the city is at for future support to STARS. We understand that these times are uncertain and scary and we do not want to put more pressure on people but rather have the doors open for conversation for when the time might be right. This is our first year of asking individual cities, towns villages for support and as mentioned this request went out in February and we are just following up now. I hope that sometime this year I am able to come to Meadow Lake and meet you personally but until then if you have any questions or would like a presentation I would be happy to do one for you.

I am enclosing a couple of documents and a video for you to watch as well as the letter we would have mailed in February. These will show you where we have gone in the last year as well as how much things cost and why we fundraise. In we have two bases one in Regina and one in . The Saskatoon is the primary base that flies to Meadow Lake and in 2018/2019 we flew there 15 times this year 2019/2020 we flew 12 times. Our fiscal year is complete March 31.

I will leave you with this link to a video that shows you where our dollars go. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EnBhBXw-d98&t=4s. STARS was built for communities by the communities and we truly appreciate this. When we all work together STARS can continue to be there for the next patient in need.

Thank you again and have a great day,

Tammy Beauregard Development Officer, Major Gifts STARS Foundation, Saskatchewan

Dear Council and Mayor,

STARS was built for the communities by the communities and has been in Saskatchewan since 2012.

We need allies like the Municipalities of Saskatchewan

• To help us stay on the cutting edge of critical care • To train and educate our crew • To fuel our innovation • To achieve excellence

How can you help?

• Putting in a yearly voluntary levy in your budget o Example - $0.50 to $2.00 per capita o Straight donation of your choice per year These donations will help with growth and sustainably of STARS continuing to fly in Saskatchewan

Where do the dollars go?

• Aviation • Clinical • Education

How does STARS support your community?

• Mobile Education Training for Paramedics, Nurses, and Rural Hospital Staff – this is a free fully funded by Rawlinson • Landing Zone Training for Fire Departments

Did you know that STARS is a flying ICU?

We deliver world-class patient care. The moment we arrive on scene, patients begin receiving critical care from our team of highly-trained paramedics, nurses and transport physicians. Inside the helicopter you will find some of the most

For the past eight years in Saskatchewan, our success has been grounded in community partnerships and donations. We are committed to providing life- saving services well into the future, for your children, your grandchildren, and beyond.

Our allies have always been in our corner, and today we are asking you to help build a strong foundation for STARS. When you support STARS, you ride along with us on every mission.
