On Saturday 9 November 2019 HG Bishop Daniel together with Fr Maximous , visited for the fi rst time the congregation in Harvey Bay and prayed with them the Vespers. They were 7 families and 2 Single persons, they were very pleased with this visit .

On Sunday 10th of November 2019, HG Bishop Daniel prayed the Holy Liturgy at St Mary & St Moses the Mighty Church – Bundaberg – QLD Following the Holy Liturgy, HG Bishop Daniel, opened the Church offi cially in the presence of Reverend Fr Abanoub Maximous and with the participation of the Sister churches and the MP’s & Offi cials in Bundaberg and the congregation of the Church. it was a blessed and wonderful day

Through the prayers of HH Pope Tawadros II and his partner in the Apostolic ministry, our beloved father HG Bishop Daniel, Bishop of Sydney & its affiliated regions, St George & Prince Theodore Coptic Orthodox Church, is delighted to invite you, to its spiritual Revival on the occasion of the Martyrdom of St George of Alexandria & the Consecration of the Church of St George of Cappadocia. The Spiritual revival will be held between the period of the 14th of November – 17th of November 2019. The Theme of the Spiritual Revival will be focusing on the Church in our homes.

Coptic School Grant - St. Wanas Foundation “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD … to give you a future and a hope” ~ 29:11

St Wanas Charity is a foundation, under the supervision of St Mark Church, Sydney, whose mission is to serve the community by off ering others a future and hope. We have set out to achieve this goal by providing support across three areas; 1. Orphans and kids Hospital: providing life-saving incubators for infants born in critical condition. We serve needy areas in Cairo, Upper Egypt, and Africa. 2. Women 4 Women: sponsoring women in areas of poverty to provide the skills needed to generate an income and better serve their children. 3. Coptic Schools: supporting projects that will support the school’s educational aspirations and benefi t “For of such is the students within a Christian environment. In celebration of the 1st Year Anniversary kingdom of God” of the St Wanas Foundation we are Luke 18:16 off ering a grant to one of the Coptic Schools, in an amount between $25,000 to $30,000. We understand that the needs of each Coptic school are unique and, as such, the project can be aimed at Help kids in need... improving facilities, providing educational materials or programs. Applications for this grant should include; 1. Description of Project: the need, objectives and scope (250 words). 2. How will the funds be used? eg. is it part of a larger program of work (250 words). 3. How is the project expected to serve both the short-term and long-term needs of the students? (250 words). The successful applicant is expected to publish the acceptance of the grant in all their marketing and social media. Upon completion, a report has to be sent to the committee with the relevant photos/ videos and published in the social media. Eligibility for this grant is only for the Coptic Schools (St. Mary, St. Mark and Incubators for St Abusefin Church St. Bishoy).
