I love you my God, my Jesus, my All Great Spirit of Love, come fill my soul Help me to spread the gifts of your Love This is my longing, my only goal… As humans we are preoccupied with our existence and our need for many things in order to be able to keep up with the fashions and trends of our modern world. (On retreat, after a Snowstorm) At the same time there are few, if any, who have not experienced, Mary S. Bayer, fmm at least once in a lifetime, that type of emptiness that conveys the apparent uselessness and nothingness of activity and possessions, as an experience of bleakness, purposelessness and immense futility. In such moments we stand alone and naked before God's countenance, undone of our vanity and vain glory. It is then that we remember that we are earth and will return to earth. Often it is in these moments of extreme emptiness and barren silence that God speaks to the heart to test its values. Thus, when we find ourselves in the desert, it is good to remember that we have the power to direct our feet towards God's holy mountain, From Blessed Mary of the Passion ... with eagerness and attentive to God's Spirit of truth,
