Marc Busquets recomana el concert d'INXS a Wembley El passat 13 de juliol va fer 30 anys que la banda de rock australià INXS va omplir el londinenc estadi de Wembley. L'any 1991, el sextet que va liderar l'avui enyorat Michael Hutchence (1960- 1997) era un dels més populars del planeta gràcies a dos àlbums molt populars: Kick (1987) i X (1990). L'èxit d'INXS, tal i com pot veure's al concert que el grup va oferir aquell vespre d'estiu, va ser la seva personalitat a l'escenari. Aquesta, forjada anys i panys en pubs i tavernes a la seva terra natal, se sustentava lògicament en el magnetisme de Hutchence, una rockstar potser no tan cèlebre com Jagger o altres, però d'un talent i sensualitat únics. D'aquell concert, que pot recuperar-se sencer a YouTube, INXS en va treure un disc anomenat Live baby live. De fet, a l'àlbum hi van barrejar cançons enregistrades durant una llarga gira arreu del món. Això potser va desvirtuar l'essència del directe a Wembley, és cert, però va subratllar la senzillesa efectiva de la seva proposta musical. La banda va mirar de tirar endavant amb certa fortuna però sense escrúpols, tot posant l'any 2011 punt i final a la carrera del conjunt més popular mai sorgit del Down under, amb permís d'AC/ DC. Ara que ha fet 30 anys d'aquell xou a Wembley, amb els INXS en estat de gràcia, val la pena recuperar-lo en tractar-se d'un gran espectacle rock. Alba Cartanyà recomana el documental "Stone Locals" Stone Locals és un documental de Patagonia Films que busca descobrir l'ànima de l'escalada. A través de les vivències de cinc persones d'edats i procedències diferents, relata com aquesta pràctica esportiva i la seva comunitat els ha ajudat a superar situacions dures i a viure la vida que volien. Més enllà de modes momentànies, es presenta l'escalada com un estil de vida. D'aquesta manera, s'intenta aproximar a la seva essència: la superació personal, la disciplina, la importància del col·lectiu, i el respecte cap a la naturalesa, entre altres aspectes que la integren. És especialment interessant el testimoni d'un home alemany que viu a la muntanya. Passa els dies cuidant de l'entorn que habita, obrint vies noves, dibuixant guies i fent escultures de pedra com a homenatge a escaladors que lamentablement han perdut la vida seguint la seva passió. Ell explica que va passar molts anys internat en un centre psiquiàtric, perquè li deien que estava boig; però que simplement no encaixava en el sistema. Gràcies a la comunitat, a l'escalada i a l'entorn natural, ha trobat un lloc on és feliç i pot ser ell mateix. En definitiva, es tracta d'una producció audiovisual molt sincera i emotiva, que utilitza l'escalada com a teló de fons per parlar de vida i d'experiències que ens poden ressonar a tots nosaltres. Podeu veure el tràiler aquí: Marià Arbonès recomana escoltar el disc "Cançons de Joan Serra", de Miquel Serra Aquest cap de setmana us recomano el disc Cançons de Joan Serra (Fohen Records), del Miquel Serra (Eivissa, 1975). Són catorze cançons inèdites del seu germà: el Joan, mort en accident el 2002. El Miquel sempre el va admirar, sempre l'ha considerat cabdal perquè ell esdevingués músic i ara en reivindica el record. Al disc d'homenatge hi hem d'afegir una exposició pictòrica i el gran documental Els ulls s'aturen de créixer, de Javier García Lerín. Cançons de Joan Serra es va gravar als estudis Favela, de Pep Toni Ferrer. És el disc més personal de la discografia del Miquel. Són cançons que formen part de la seva vida, senzilles però carregades de sentiments. Dues s'han publicat en el format original, enregistrades pel Joan mateix: Ses ones i Fa sones. La resta s'han regravat per mantenir l'essència de les melodies. Amb el Miquel hi co?laboren Jorra Santiago (guitarra), Miquel Perelló (bateria), Margalida Ramis (veu), Maria Roselló (veu), Nofre Pol (veu), Manu Mielniezul (trompeta) i Joan Vila (piano). Nascut a Eivissa el 1975, Miquel Serra viu la infantesa en diferents pobles: Eivissa, Inca i Manacor. Seguint les passes familiars, va estudiar enginyeria tècnica agrícola i va treballar en el https://www.reusdigital.cat/noticia/86372/cap-setmana-cultural-amb-reusdigital Pagina 2 de 3 camp de l'agricultura ecològica. De petit va acompanyar el Joan en diferents projectes musicals, com ara Els Crancs. Després es va posar a compondre cançons pel seu compte, que musicalment es relacionen amb el folk mediterrani o la psicodèlia. Cançons de Joan Serra és el seu setè disc i ara en prepara un altre. Tot i que la música és el seu hàbitat natural, el Miquel també s'ha endinsat en la narrativa. Influït per autors com ara George Saunders, al febrer va publicar Pendents que arribin els conqueridors, a l'Editorial Empúries. Sound quality EXCELLENT!!! Have more recent releases on Kiss The Stone that are excellent; wasn't sure this far back how it would be...couldn't be better than a studio live recording; that terrific!! Really great setlist; INXS sounding BRILLIANT!! Thought I had just about every song in every different order, but I was missing "It's Only Time" & this is where the video was filmed (which, that I did have)! You can hear Michael letting audience know it's being filmed for music video!! EXCITING!! WONDERFUL addition for any INXS' fans' collection!!! Michael's still so sorely missed...music's & the world's loss (after his family, of course).
