Dear Skiers,

Welcome To RED! On behalf of RED Mountain Resort and the Red Mountain Racers, I am pleased to extend a warm Kootenay invitation for you to attend the FIS Ski Cross Nor Am Finals here at western Canada’s original ski area. The Ski Cross Showdown will be one of the biggest events at RED this winter featuring 2 back-to-back NorAm Ski Cross competitions.

We look forward to hosting all the athletes, coaches, support personnel, officials, sponsors and media for what promises to be an exciting conclusion to a long season of NorAm Ski Cross action.

And don’t forget to bring your powder skis to enjoy our incredible mountains and the “steep and deep” after the racing! RED offers 2,919 feet of vertical drop (884 meters) featuring over 300 inches (750cm) of annual snowfall, champagne powder, world renowned gladed tree skiing and wide-open groomed runs.
