So by the end of April 2019 the ISPs will be told that they can connect their customers to the new FTTP service and super- fast broadband. Openreach will also tell us at the same time that the ISPs have it in their gift to supply superfast broadband so we can order it. I NEW EVENTS: Redlingfield’s St Andrew’s Church is spicing it up this year with a host of extra events including a dog show and a produce show on the Doorstep Green. The Parochial Church Council’s (PCC’s) cheese and wine will have been held at Horham Community Centre by the time you read this and as in past year’s a quiz is planned. The first dog show on Sunday June 9th will offer prizes for best rescue, best puppy, waggiest tail, best handler, scruffiest dog, best veteran and best bitch and dog. If you want to enter the produce show on Sunday September 1st you should probably get planting soon. There will be categories for carrots, potatoes, runner beans and marrows. There will also be categories for knitted art, house plant, flower arrangement and photograph of Suffolk sunset. Both events, organised by Alison Smith, should be fun for all and the Doorstep Green’s pop-up pub will be open for these events. A further sports event is also being organised by Tony Freitas to tie in with one of the pub on the green evenings. Watch out for details. The events will raise funds for St Andrew’s Church.
