The base price of a photo op includes two adults in the same photo. Families may have two adults and their children under 12. ** The Robert Englund in Makeup photo op is a strict limit of two fans per photo. 2. To receive your digital download, you must redeem your digital ticket after your photo is taken at the photo op sales area. 3. Glasses will often glare and make it very difficult for the photographers to see if you blinked. If you do not mind removing them, we suggest you do. 4. Space in the photo op line queue is limited, therefor we must insist that only those who are going to be in the photo may wait in the lines. In the case of small children who are to be in the photo, a parent or guardian may wait with them. 5. No personal photos or videos may be taken in the photo op room. Please be sure to have any cameras, cell phones, video cameras or other recording devices put away when entering the photo op room. 6. If you have purchased your ticket on-line, you must be sure to redeem your printed ticket for a photo op card before entering the photo op room. Printed tickets will not be accepted by the attendant in the photo op room. 7 . Typical wait time for prints is about thirty minutes but may increase during heavy volume photo ops. All prints will be ready same day, even for late photo ops. 8. Please try to limit the items you bring into the photo op room as there is little space to place them. 9. Do not be late for your photo op. We cannot bring a guest or group back once they have left the photo op room. No refunds will be given if you are late for your photo op, you may exchange the ticket for another op. 10. Lines for photo ops are made about 30 minutes before the op starts. Please do not try to line up prior to this or create your own lines. Fan created lines will not be honored when photo op lines are set up by the photo op staff. .

This was conducted in April, 2001, and I found him to be quite friendly and detailed in our discussion. Next time you watch the last two films, take time to appreciate the qualities of color and visual detail present. Let’s start off with the basics, Chris. What is your background, pre-Phantasms? Phantasm III was my first real feature film as first unit cinematographer. Before that I had shot some second unit photography as well as many short films as a film student and even two features, one as a film student and one just after graduating from school, but P3 was my first film with a budget over a million dollars. Before going to film school, I had worked as a freelance still photographer; as well as a gaffer and grip on a number of films, tv movies, commercials, etc….so I had a strong photographic background. Abstract Harry Benshoff has boldly proclaimed that ‘horror stories and monster movies, perhaps more than any other genre, actively invoke queer readings’ (1997, p. 6). For Benshoff, gay audiences have forged cultural identifications with the counter-hegemonic figure of the ‘monster queer’ who disrupts the heterosexual status quo. However, beyond identification with the monstrous outsider, there is at present little understanding of the interpretations that gay fans mobilise around different forms and features of horror and the cultural connections they establish with other horror fans online. In addressing this gap, this thesis employs a multi-sited netnographic method to study gay horror fandom. This holistic approach seeks to investigate spaces created by and for gay horror fans, in addition to their presence on a mainstream horror site and a gay online forum. In doing so, this study argues that gay fans forge deep emotional connections with horror that links particular textual features to the construction and articulation of their sexual and fannish identities. In developing the concept of ‘emotional capital’ that establishes intersubjective recognition between gay fans, this thesis argues that this capital is destabilised in much larger spaces of fandom where gay fans perform the successful ‘doing of being’ a horror fan (Hills, 2005).

Englund, Professor of Assyriology & Sumerology and Director of the Cuneiform Digital Library Initiative (CDLI) at the University of California, Los Angeles, at the National Humanities Center on October 22, 2004. As principal investigator of the CDLI, Englund has led an international group of Assyriologists, museum cura- tors, and historians of science to make available through the Internet the form and content of cuneiform tablets dating from the beginning of writing, circa 3350 BC. Supplementing nearly half a million discrete inscriptions, translated into English and Arabic, will be online tools necessary for textual analysis allowing far greater insight into the origins of culture in the cradle of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers that can be readily accessed by scholars all over the world. et’s start with a snapshot of what life was like in Mesopotamia in the first millennium BC, one that Lmight point to some parallels between what ancient Babylonians and Assyrians were facing then, and what mod- ern Iraqis are facing today.
