Nightme lane closures will occur Monday, August 16 to Friday, August 20 on I-215 near Placenta Ave. Lanes will be reduced 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly in both directons. At least one lane will be open at all tmes. This will allow crews to work on the bridge columns.
Motorists should allow extra travel tme, use alternate routes, and follow posted speed limits.
There are no planned lane closures for the week of August 23.
Project Progress
Columns for the new bridge are being built. Crews have started paving the new ramps.
About the Project Located between Ramona Expy. to the north and Nuevo Rd. to the south, the I-215 Placenta Interchange is designed to meet the needs of the area’s growing populaton. The project will add northbound and southbound ramps, realign E. Frontage Rd., widen the Placenta overcrossing, and add lanes from Harvill Ave. to Indian Ave. RCTC expects to open the interchange in summer 2022. This interchange is Constructon Contract #1 of RCTC’s Mid County Parkway Project, which will provide a new 16-mile east-west route between Perris and San Jacinto.

Habrá cierres nocturno de carriles desde el lunes, 16 de agosto al viernes, 20 de agosto sobre el I-215 cerca de Placenta Ave. Carriles se reducirán entre las 8 p.m. y 6 a.m. cada noche en las dos direcciones. Por lo menos un carril se mantendrá abierto todo el tempo. Esto permitrá a las cuadrillas a construir las columnas del puente.
Motoristas deben de planear tempo extra para viajar, usar rutas de desvío, y no exceder el límite de velocidad señalizado.
No hay cierres de carriles planeados para la semana del 23 de agosto.
Progreso del Proyecto
Están construyendo las columnas del nuevo Cuadrillas empezaron el pavimento de las puente. nuevas rampas.
Datos del Proyecto Localizado entre Ramona Expy. al norte y Nuevo Rd. al sur, el I-215 Placenta Interchange está diseñada para satsfacer las necesidades de la población que está creciendo en esta área. El proyecto agrega rampas hacia el norte y hacia el sur, realineará E. Frontage Rd., ampliará el puente de Placenta y agregará carriles desde Harvill Ave. hasta Indian Ave. RCTC espera abrir el intercambio en el verano de 2022. Este intercambio es contrato de construcción #1 del Mid County Parkway Project de RCTC, que proporcionará una nueva ruta este-oeste de 16 millas entre Perris y San Jacinto.
