Parish Service for the Commissioning of Jordan for Word & Sacrament Originally postponed from December last year, Bishop Paul Smith will be commissioning Jordan in his ministry among us on Sunday the 23rd of May, at 9.30 am, at St John's School in Kingaroy. There will rd be no services at Kumbia, , Murgon, Yarraman and , on the 23 . Please bring a plate of morning tea to share, which our Kingaroy folk will serve, according to Covid health protocols. This will be followed by a Parish Meeting at which the audited financial statements and the Final Budget for 2021 will be presented, and the AGM confirmed as per requirements of the constitution.

The Barambah Ministers Association is beginning to plan the Murgon Christmas

Carols in December, and are looking for expressions of interest to be involved in the planning committee. If you would like to be part of this process, please let Jordan know before June so that your name can be tabled at the next meeting.

Melinda Tankard Reist, renowned speaker on topics such as teenagers, sexuality, pornography & violence is returning to Kingaroy May 19-21. Pamphlets back of church.

23rd of May!! Youth Group 4.00pm at Kingaroy Bowls Club. Cost: games are $5 for kids, $10 for adults. Pick up at church at 6.30pm Parents, siblings, grandparents are all welcome!!!!! Bring money for Maccas/KFC/Subway for dinner at 5.30. We’ll walk down the road for food, then meet and eat at the church. Come along and have some fun!! An opportunity to contribute to the purchase of Bibles for the Year 2 children at St John’s Lutheran School will be available on Sunday 5th June and Sunday 12th June. Please consider your gift towards this wonderful mission opportunity. All the children love receiving their Bible. This book can be the beginning of a lifelong relationship between a child and God’s word.
