The Rebels are the Bulldogs’ most common foe, and this series is among the longest in NCAA Division I history. The Bulldogs have won five out of the last seven against the Rebels at Scott Field; however, Ole Miss has taken the last two. The Bulldogs thrived in the ground game, racking up 309 yards behind 100-yard games from both QB Nick Fitzgerald and RB Kylin Hill, who pounded out 117 and 108 yards, respectively. AUGUST (1-0) Through the air, State amassed 111 yards to total 420 yards of offense in the victory. Trailing 20-6, MSU tied the game thanks to a fourth-quarter rally.
