STATUTORY CONSULTATION NOTICE Statutory Notice – Further and Higher Education Act 1992 North Shropshire College (NSC) Corporation hereby gives notice in accordance with the provisions of the Further and Higher Education Act 1992 (the Act) of the proposal that North Shropshire College of Shrewsbury Road, Oswestry, Shropshire, SY11 4QB be dissolved and that the transfer of the property, rights and liabilities of that Corporation to Herefordshire and Ludlow College Corporation of Folly Lane, Hereford, HR1 1LS be effected. Dissolution of the North Shropshire College is proposed, at the request of the College Corporation, in order that the College may merge with Herefordshire and Ludlow College Corporation. The date proposed for the dissolution is midnight on 31 July 2018. Provision will be made for all students currently attending North Shropshire College who have not yet completed their courses of study by the date of dissolution to complete their studies with the new merged college. All responses and representations must be received by the closing date. The Corporation of North Shropshire College will publish a summary of the feedback and its outcome within two months of the closing date.
