Registration Package Information For BC Players to attend Canada Deaf Games 2018 DATE: Saturday, February 17 to Sunday, February 25, 2018 LOCATION: Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada Deaf Games (CDG) Combo Fee per player includes opening ceremony, closing ceremony, banquet (Feb 24), registration fee, program book, game passes, bronze and gold medal games. This cost $200 Early Bird by September 30 or $235 deadline by October 31, 2017 per player. Objective: These competitions are qualification for the 2019 Winter Deaflympics: Curling, ice hockey and snowboarding. Curling events will count as national tryouts. There will be coaches and recruiters on site for ice hockey and snowboarding. The basketball games will select the best players age 21 years old and under for the U21 World Basketball Championships at Gallaudet University, July 2019 If you are interested to be on BC Team for the sports of volleyball, curling, basketball, bowling, ice hockey and snowboarding. Please inform Leonor Johnson at BC Deaf Sports Federation. You are required to attend BCDSF try-out selection games/practice events to be part of BC Team. Please ask Leonor at BCDSF office for the schedule. BC Package Information: All flights, hotels, CDG combo fees must be done through BCDSF. CDG and Canadian Deaf Sports Association will not accept payment from individual BC players. HOTEL: Rooms will be booked by BCDSF at Canad Inn Polo Park, Winnipeg. Two double sized bed in each room cost $135 per night plus taxes. Approx. $600 each player for eight (8) nights. Possible reduces to four (4) nights for basketball, volleyball, bowling and ice hockey.
